Volume Five is currently in progress and I'll make my annual request for material for this, which will cover the period of the First World War, Palace's move to Herne Hill, and later to the Nest. If you have anything of interest for this period - or indeed for any other period - you are invited to contact me by replying to this thread or by PM. Volume 4 of The Origin of Crystal Palace FC has now been published. As of today, it is available on Ebay and should also be in the club shop by now. It covers the years 1912 to 1914. 428 Pages, and like Volumes 1 to 3, it is a coffee-table book, highly readable, full-colour and ram-jam full of a collection of Palace facts, memorabilia and jaw-dropping photos which you have never seen before. Football, like life, isn't about getting what you want or even deserve. It's about appreciating what you have. Crystal Palace. |
