He wouldn’t have got a look in on a match day squad anyway! I would much rather Banks got slowly introduced to the first team set up than bring another youngster with potential in that position. Good that Meyer is now off the books. Good player but no point keeping him at the club if he’s not likely to play. £170 a week saved!

I assume you mean £170.000 per week, which he wasn't earning anywhere near that.

Interestingly transfermarket.com now lists his main position as a right back! He certainly didn't play there regularly for QPR but maybe he's found a new position in Turkey. I can't say I've watched any Fenerbahce games but if he is playing more defensively then it'd at least explain lower goals/assists.
