you could've got 5 or 6-1 a couple of weeks ago - decent bet. It's not a rush of money, just an insurance by the bookies ahead of the rush of money that would have happened had they not shortened the odds - with no weak links above us or below, given our unresolved state of transition it's natural our odds should shrink.

It’s not a big surprise really considering we are managerless, half of our players are out of contract and most of the squad is late 20’s or early 30’s and we don’t have the money to bring in a significant number of new faces. Newcastle and Burnley are as low as 2/1 with some bookmakers and Brighton are 5/1 or thereabouts with most of them.
