Appears to have left the Club. Not surprising given our record of training ground injuries, reoccurrence of injuries and length of lay offs. Who are the players? My guess is Sakho and possibly Cahill or Wickham

what errors with RLC? I don't remember him being injure that much, although I do have a brain like a sieve. Either way, with Vieira's experience with City and what the benchmark standard for sports science would be there, I'm not surprised that a few of our back room staff are moving on. They must look grossly behind the times.

Scott Guyett is joining 'Brisbane Roar', he was raised in the city. I recall Guyett the player, a no-nonsense centre-half who was good in the air. Edited by Willo (02 Aug 2021 3.31pm)

Apparently, no hard evidence of this, but we said he needed surgery which was a mistake and, kept him out for 50% longer than necessary. Chelsea were not impressed. Is it not standard for an injured loan player to return to his parent club who will decide on treatment?

Seems to have been some issue and our injury record is not great. Perhaps just wanted to return to Aus, as per normal with Palace we will never know

If he is at fault and we are below upper Prem standard but his replacement is at standard, they could turn out to be the best signing of the summer.

Hmmm...got Parish's award for ' Outstanding Contribution ' as recently as June. Something doesn't quite add up.

"Roar coach Warren Moon has revamped his coaching staff, with his new right-hand man being former Crystal Palace head of sport science Scott Guyett." Nothing official yet from the club, which is strange, I wonder if the Award on June 3rd was a "lifetime" achievement thing, because he was planning to move on. Or, more likely, PV wants his own person in there, since he wants to play a more high intensity game. I'll be "watching this space".

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Scott and his wife, when we came to London in 2015. High light of the trip for me is when Scott invited us to the upstairs lounge bar after a match at Selhurst and met some lovely people, including Julian Speroni, he was such a nice guy to talk to and even let us take a photo together. Later, in the season after returning to Australia; Scott sent me a player's jersey signed by a few players namely: Delaney, Pucheon, Ward, Dann, & Murray. The following year i bought the "yellow away shirt" with Zaha's name and number on the back. We sent it to Scott and had Zaha signed the jersey and sent it back to us. We just like to say "thanks for making our (short) visit to SP and London very memorable.
Zaha has some green grass in front of him here. Finds Ambrose |
