I read these in the Times on Monday. Consequences of the strange impact of COVID on this season. Palace and Southampton are the only two adjacent teams in the Premier League table to have played the same number of Matches. Burnley will have played the lowest number of top flight matches going into February since Bury in the late nineteenth century.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |
