Now that the plans have finally been sorted and it looks like the Selhurst redevelopment will start next year (fingers crossed), can anyone shed light on the redevelopment plans for the other stands included in the project. I think I remember the following - The pitch is being expanded to ‘accommodate tournament football’ I ask because looking at the pictures, it looks like the Holmesdale roof is being changed or maybe that’s just the way it’s drawn. Any ideas?

Other than where the new stand roof meets the existing roof, the planning application drawings didn't include reroofing the holmesdale. The artists impressions and promotional gumpf showed the roof of all four stands bright white, but not otherwise changed. The images are either a bit of artistic licence, or it's a good time to buy shares in white paint, but that's about it. The other stuff you list is certainly part of the project, and was shown on the planning application. You can see all the information on Croydon Council website (planning department) if you're interested. I'd suggest that you start with the design and access statement, as that acts as a guide to the proposal. The interesting thing for me will be what happens next, once the new stand is finished and the dust has settled. If we can regularly fill the ground then perhaps attention will be turned to the Arthur or even the Whitehorse, though both present significant issues.

With expanding the pitch ( good idea) I hope they are not moving the seating too far back for the Pitch perimeter- got to keep that intimacy

If we put in plans now to have a new stand , where the Arthur Wait stand is , we might get permission to build 20 years after I am dead .

The chairman has just done one of his periodic updates, and though I haven't watched the video yet myself, the website summarises his position regarding the new stand. Seems the club are advanced enough in the process to be having to specify fine details for the purposes of tendering the construction contract. What wallpaper they want, where the catflap goes, that sort of thing.

John Textor's walk through 3D computer model hologram will be available in the new year. Only 10 pounds a download or a fiver for an NFT of it.

We've let SP redevelopment drift for so long now we are way behind the curve of where we should be given the number of Prem League seasons we've had with all that cash. It's bleedin' obvious that 3 out of 4 of our stands are not fit for purpose...
