I'm a couple of days late with this, but I've only just learnt that Ken Block died in a snowmobiling accident on Monday. Any of you who, like me, are also motorsport nuts will know this guy was a very skilled driver of wild, purpose built cars. A shock to learn of his death at the age of 55. I first saw him when Top Gear's James May did a piece to showcase his skills. I was also privileged to see him drive at Goodwood a few years ago. [Link] This is the Top Gear film, but YouTube is littered with his famous Gymkhana videos. RIP Mr Block.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

He certainly did some impressive stuff. It's not like he didn't know the risks
