Very poor value if you compare the £17.5 million Sporting are offering for Viktor Gyokcores - at 24 reaching his peak and an established Swedish international.

A striker who doesn't score in one of the top 5 European leagues isn't a bargain at any price IMO.

I agree. I would be banging down Coventry’s door with a £20m offer. Can’t believe he would turn down PL football with a team where he would be no1 striker.

Great - we’re looking at another striker who can’t score at the top level. You’d have thought that Freedman might have a clue about who is or who isn’t any good in that position.

Freedman was a pretty skilful player but he wasn't Wright or Bright level prolific by any means.
