Never one of the greats, IMHO, but came up with some nice melodic riffs, which I of course have shamelessly “borrowed” from time to time... RIP

I did see Whitesnake one time in the early'80s, so Marsden was probably still in the band then. He co wrote some of their biggest hits with Coverdale, so was a key contributor to their success.
