His contract expires in June 2025. They need to persuade him to extend or sell him. My guess is he’ll come to Palace when the Arabs sign Guehi.

I went to watch Brentford v Wolfsburg last night (trying to watch as many pre-season friendlies as I can!) Lacroix played the entire game and looked very good. Very comfortable on the ball and also scored a goal! If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving ------------------------------------------------------- Slough's not that bad really!

The usual theatrical sound and fury to raise transfer prices I would assume. German newspapers as well as their Fan-Blog have reported since the start of this year that Wolfsburg are prepared that he won't be with them by the end of the transfer window as he is entering his last year of his contract and doesn`t want to sign a new one. They have been concerned that they might not get a good transfer price for him. If he's as good as touted, I'd rather have him on a longer contract than Guehi. Guehi won't sign a new contract and his value will diminish massively over the next year or so. Plus, we managed well without him while he was injured, so hopefully won't impact the first team too much if/when he leaves but we will need a good replacement still. Also, if Guehi goes first and they know we have that money they'll increase the fee wanted. It's Red and Blue that unites us
