Even money to stay up. We are 4pts off 10th, so not bad odds of 45/1, dreamland to finish that high but given our results under Holloway and now Pulis this isn't as daft as it sounds. Even money is a decent bet aswell, so many other clubs that are struggling that strated off better off than us. Our players are starting to believe and don't look frightened anymore.

Palace never win me any money when i bet on them, so have given up. Missed out on good money when we beat Man U in the cup and watford in the PO Final, because of extra time, did silly bets on them to beat the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, and also lesser games like Norwich and Fulham. But wished i had stuck some on them to stay up, but didn't as thought it would jinx them. So hoping by not we will stay up!

I'd be interested to see our average points per game for the second quarter of the season. Multiply that by 2,and add to points total at half way and I think you'd have a reasonable estimate that allows for an inevitable slump at some point. Edited by Qwijibo (20 Jan 2014 8.09pm)

We are scrapping well and probably exceeding expectations. However, take out 2 from Delaney, Ward, Jedinak and Speroni and we are going to struggle to pick up points. I think Villa have made a good signing in Bertrand as Luna was crap at right back and they should move up a bit. The odds quoted are about right so keep your money in your pocket at this stage. There are better bets around - such as correct score 1-0 to Palace in our matches against teams in bottom half of the table!!

We're still bookies favourite at skybet 8/11 to go down. Swansea one point ahead of us are by comparison at 7/1. 9x less likely! I reckon 3 pts out of trouble and 5-0 up at HT in the last game will be the first time the team get any respect
