Looking at the up and coming month I really believe these five matches will define whether we stay up or go down. We face Swansea, Sunderland and Newcastle away and play Southampton and Chelsea at Selhurst. Swansea will be a tough away game as they have been playing well under the new boss and still have a lot to play for. Sunderland will be an extremely tight game and Poyet has got them playing well at home at the moment. I can see us grabbing a result up at Newcastle. If we manage to get the upper hand then the geordies will really get on their teams backs and I think we could nick a win. The two home matches will be very difficult, as they are both sides who play good football. I'm not confident of beating Chelsea but Southampton are definitely beatable - just look at West Ham's performance at the weekend. I think we should aim for at least two wins out of the five games. If we manage two wins it will put us on 32 points then I think all we would need out of the remaining games would be another two wins to see us to safety. Thoughts?

Holloway going defined our season really. We would have been goners by now had he stayed. A win next week at Swansea and Sunderland losing their next Prem match - If that miracle happens - and it could - I think I might just get one of the Cohibas out.

And thanks for ignoring the 'stop' signal.

It's utterly thrilling and terrifying at the same time. It's like you're reaching out, within touching distance of greatness, but the floor can fall away from under your feet at any time. No security, or certainty. Emotionally, I can do nothing but focus on one game at a time.

if we get a result at swansea and bottom 3 all fail to win, that will be a brilliant cushion - 5 points. The match against sunderland will be massive - true palace style, never straight forward and always exciting

I think the month that might have defined our season come May 11th is JANUARY where i believe we got 7/12 points. We registered loads of valuable points when we had to,leading to our current league position. I can't see us bettering this[Hope iam wrong] Iam now like someone else mentioned, taking each game as it comes. Constantly looking at the remaining fixtures feels me with dread.

Yes March is the month in which we must score lots of goal because its only goals that will keep us up. Not sure how Pulis will work the permutations up front but he has to do some thing otherwise we are toast.

5 goals will keep us up....if they're all 1-0 wins.
