I didn't see it but my nipper (who was down the front) tells me that Thomas accidentally hit a little girl (around 4 he thinks) with the ball during half time. My missus told me he then went to see her, jumped over the advertising hoardings, rubbed her head, took off his shirt, signed it and gave it to her. What a thoroughly decent young chap.

It was funny/good how he ran out for the team huddle before the first half kicked off.

His old man was very complimentary of the fans/setup at Selhurst on MOTD. I think it's more of a testiment to the side that he's being left out as opposed to any kind of slur against his ability
