I did like the footage shown yesterday on TV - cant be sure it was the incident over Cornwall as there is suspicion, as it was released by the Russians, that it may be something else or different stuff stitched together but at one point what is clearly an RAF Typhoon just banks slightly to show the underbelly of his plane, bristling with missiles as if to say 'come on then'.. As for Putin - flabby titted, Elf look a like is simply a posturing gangster who regards the oppression of the Old Soviet Union as 'the good old days' but then counts the money and assets he and his cronies have syphoned off and carved up and goes niet. Going for a good old bit of Soviet lebensraum out of which he will personally do very well Edited by The Sash (20 Feb 2015 12.59pm)

I'm definitely getting echos of Europe's attitude towards Hitler pre-WW2.....Though I'm not saying Putin has quite the same ambitions. Essentially though if they walk away with Crimea and the sanctions are lifted......Then democracy and the west have failed.

Ultimately not well for Russia. There's a reason petrol prices are so cheap now. That won't end until Russia hits some major economic malaise. Will take a while, but the world is patient.

Why won't it happen? Long range bombers is all they need....That's what they want and that's what Russia are providing.....Knock out that runway and we are fecked.
