Cologne - Lads weekend away

Off to Cologne next week with a couple of the lads. Anything worth seeing or places to visit? We literally have nothing planned except for steins. Going Thursday to Sunday. Staying at Die Wohngemeinschaft Hostel.

I can't help you but I've always felt Cologne should be in France. And that Strasbourg should be in Germany.

You'll do well to get a stein. The local beer is Koelsch and comes in 200ml glasses, but the waiters keep em coming until you say stop. They'll tick a beermat on your table for every beer, to keep tabs and may stick an extra one on there to have a beer on you. Nothing to do with ripping off foreigners, it's a local tradition they do to everyone. Have a good one.

Went to Cologne a few years ago and found the visit to the 'Chocolate Museum' very interesting.

I've been a couple of times and enjoyed it but I heard there's a massive and immpressive t1tty bar which I sadly didn't get to (seeing as I was only going there to meet my then bird) I think it's a t1tty bar. It might have been a knocking shop. I think there's one of those new super mega brothels opened up there now. Can I come? Good to nip down to Bonn on the train whilst yer there which is only about 15 mins on the train and very picturesqueek.
