Just because they've got the painters in, they can go home. Whatever next ? I can just see my boss letting me leave nearly next Friday just because I've got a bit of a belly ache (I want to go to Reading really) !

Flexi time would definitely address my second point. Do many women want their whole office knowing EXACTLY when they are on? In our office we just give each other a knowing nod when we see a female colleague scuttle off to the lavs with her handbag, but taking a week off is a lot less subtle.

Unless she works in accounts, then I think you'll find that she gets the money in quicker when she's got the hump a bit. Also, just think how well the kids are behaved when a teacher on blob is in control !
