Best thing that's happened to our club since cpfc2010. Oozes class Saved us 2pts v Bournemouth with one on one save. 27/08/2016 Saved us at least 2pts v Middlesbrough with multiple second half saves. 10/09/2016 Saved us at least 2pts v Sunderland with two superb second half saves. 24/09/2016 Edited by DivingIsNotGood (24 Sep 2016 5.16pm)

He caught at least 2 corners cleanly. His distribution and communication was good. It was only Blackpool but I think he already looks a huge upgrade on Hennessey.

Imo I think he's the best signing of all, he really is a class act, I would of had my heart in my mouth if Wayne tried to control the ball like he did tonight with on coming strikers shutting down and he cooly pick two good passes,i think he should wait his turn but Hennessy is going to have his number one spot taken for sure, massive upgrade by the looks of it, not sure about the chant though Edited by kirbyeagle (23 Aug 2016 11.11pm)

Im presuming the Steeeeve chant was to do with the Jerry Springer show who had a minder called Steve and the audience continuously chanted Steeeeve when he had to intervene

Mandanda's organisation of the defence and sheer quality of footwork is the equivalent of having 12 player's on the pitch. Yes it was vs Blackpool but he constantly pushed our full backs on that Hennesey never does which changed our shape to 352. Couldn't believe my eyes how he dominated the box, never seen this EVER from any Palace keeper. Yes it's so exciting to see benteke but the biggest highlight for decade's at our club is having a keeper of this quality. The confidence he will give both our defence and midfield to push on is unsurpassed to anything I've ever seen. Couldn't make the match tonight, but great to hear he played well. I predicted when we signed him, that he would go on to become one of the best players we ever signed (big statement, I know) but I have very high hopes.

The transfer bloke on talksport thinks Mandanda is one off the best keepers in europe. he thinks it's a massive coup for us to have a keeper off his quality on a free transfer.
