Have the players lost the passion or is it due to the "upgrade" in players?? I now watch the game and feel we somehow just lack the Palace fight we used to have,

Nope. We were set up incorrectly against an exceptional Liverpool side and lost to a better team. Not much more we could have done. We'll go to Burnley and we'll get a point or three.

So we were set up incorrectly against Liverpool and West Ham, both games lost so here is problem number 1, secondly I think the OP has got a valid point, we have lost a lot of our passion, so important when you are facing good opposition.

Nothing to do with passion. Every player last night looked like they wanted to win and worked hard. Offensively the tactics are off, defensively the quality is off.

Passion is not needed. Determination is. Prime example is obviously Brazil v Germany in semi of last world cup.
It's good to keep an opened mind, but not so open that your brains fall out. |

Not sitting back, letting them do whatever they wanted and showing them way to much respect. We went at them from the start in the second half and actually looked like we were getting somewhere.
