Am seeing rumours crisis talks are due this week and that Roy Hodgson has been approached. Not sure how true this is so dont shoot the messenger.

It's a no from me. Yes, he did well at Fulham and West Brom, but I don't feel he's the right choice if AP was sacked. "Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

It's a no from me. Yes, he did well at Fulham and West Brom, but I don't feel he's the right choice if AP was sacked.

We either need someone like Allardyce to steady the ship and secure the defence, or an impressive, exciting manager to push us to the next level. Hodgson represents neither.

I'll let others speculate about Pardew, uncle Tom Cobley and all. In terms of Roy Hodgson, reports have been linking him with Norwich a team who have lost 5 on the bounce.

I cannot believe the attitude to Hodgson, exciting? no but he is a bloody good well proven manager. Someone even said his time at Fulham was poor. Wish we were in a position to lose a European final the dignified don't even enter in the game

I feel Pardew is the kind of manager that can take over from a Pulis and get us playing expansive, exciting football, but after a few years it all goes down hill. I would love to have Pulis back, even with the dire football, but that won't happen. I would take Hodgson tbh. As fans, we need to accept that we aren't a solid PL club yet and if we want to expand the stadium, attract good players, then we just have to survive for the next few years. I do believe, as a lot on here do, that our midfield doesn't work. I can't quite figure out why, but for me, Cabaye is a weakness. I know he is technically our best player, but he seems redundant in our team.
