Everyone must be still sleeping off their celebratory drinks this morning. Surprised, no one has picked up on rumours linking us with Mitrovic from Newcastle this morning (along with West Ham). Given that Wickham is now out of the season, and that Remy never appears to be fit, we need another striker. And it appears that Newcastle would be more than willing to sell.

yeah I caught on to this last night and the fact that no one made a tread. I was just too tired. good player. bit of a wannabe hard nut but tbf with benteke. ..I just think he requires someone quick and pressurising beside him/behind him so am not sure about this one. however. strength in depth is important and tears like southampton have players of this calibre on their bench so we should aim for this too.

This would be a terrible signing. He's not a good footballer based on what I've seen of him. One dimensional.

Not the kind of character I want at the club, gets sent off a lot and looks a bit of a thug from what I've seen. Plus he doesn't really compliment Benteke; just another target man. When Wickham comes back then we will have 3 target men. We need someone running in behind the defence but also capable of dropping back into midfield if needed.

No perhaps we all saw it had another drink hoping it would go away! West Ham can have him!

Surely the irony in this is not lost on everyone? He's unhappy because he's not playing as much as he'd like. Because he's being kept out of the lineup by Dwight Gayle. Who we sold as he wasn't deemed good enough for us. It's a no from me.

How about expressing thought to Manager's input and note till to drive Mitrovic's game onto another level? If the player wants success BIG time enough and is prepared to work under the right management....

He does pick up a few red cards, seems to be more than a bit violent on the field. I don't like his attitude or any players like him, the game is worse for their presence. Parrot

Really don't think that this would be a positive move. Also kind of tired of watching Pardew looking at Newcastle players, it's as if he's trying to prove a personal point rather than trying to improve our lot. Rather see him bring Gayle back.
