Apparently according to the sun spurs are lining up a £25 million bid for wilf , I always remember pardew saying if they offer £50 mil then he can go , surely wilf is worth more than 25 ?

Not going to sell anyway whilst we are in a relegation battle.

Well you would hope not ....In tough times the last thing you would do is sell your best player

no chance of him being sold unless he asks for a transfer

Think it depends on whether SP wants to balance the books sadly.

Interesting Scenario. Wont sell for £25m today but in 6 months time we'll be lucky to get that for him, perhaps same fee. If we're going down clubs will know we have to sell and are less likely to pay that £40/50m inflated fee that we're looking for. Time will tell. Wilf is the only player I'd truly miss if we got relegated, sad times for the club

If we go down most of this squad will be sold or released at end of contract. We will have to rebuild and the likes of KaiKsi, Derher, Anderson, Michael Campbell and Boateng will be regular first team players. We need to rebuild the soul and spirit of the club not just the management and players. Very sad. The demise is coincidentally linked to the sale of part of the club ownership to the Americans and with the resulting complacency (admitted by SP) in decisions and strategic planning on the pitch. Again, very sad. If we stay up it will be the ultimate footballing miracle but sadly, I have seen this situation before during my nearly 50 years following CPFC. 1980/81 season repeat I'm afraid.

Newcastle made big money on Winjaldum when they got relegated.Going down doesn't mean we'll get done over in the market. We have good individual players who would walk in to most PL teams, they're just not good as a unit.
