Amerikanskis: What you doing re: NBC Gold BS?

Pardon if there's already a thread but I didn't find one. Our options for season opener v Huddersfield and one expects a fair number of other matches: 1) stream from somewhere if possible 2) plug ears, cover eyes, hope for a full match replay to stream or DL in hours/days to follow 3) pay the for 120 games, of which a fraction will be Palace 4) ________other ideas_____________? (In my case, I spend most weekend nights at girlfriend's place in town which has normal internet, so I guess I revert to #3) This is especially aggravating for me because I live in an area where my only internet option is satellite which a) is not that fast, b) is not available when it's snowing, c) has a monthly data allowance which is finite and pretty much precludes streaming video. Even if not every match was available in HD on Dish Network (again the only option available to me out here in the trees), they WERE all broadcast live, so at least I could watch them or DVR them. This is some "give it to em for free, charge em once they're hooked" garbaggio!

Your options 1 - 4 are correct. I get Spectrum and have to pay a bit extra to get a sports package which includes the premier league live channels. And then you can use the NBC sports app also. I used to have directv and it wasnt horrendous to get the sports package which including premier league, maybe 10 or 15 a month. If you live in the sticks then thems the breaks, partner

So what channel will it be on tomorrow? As far as I can tell, the NBC Gold stream is the only morally hyper-upstanding option???

it says nbc gold for tomorrow. i don't know but i'll be paying it. bend over and take it, just like any other service for sports these days. you live out in the boonies though, thems the breaks. maybe move closer to civilization.

Yep, $50 for the season is probably well worth it. You have to figure that about 40% of Palace's games will likely be on this package. That's 15 games, so $3.29 per game. A small price to pay for 2 hours of enjoyment of screaming at a computer screen :-)

Which NBC channel on the TV - or is it streaming only? I though that NBC show all games, although they can be hard to track down - especially Palace for some reason :-(

All games on all providers can be found here. If you have a cable package which supports it all games are on the NBC sports app also.

I'm not a fan of the new NBC setup. Sure, it's only $50 for the season which is a small price to pay but... I kind of liked the previous NBC Live Extra way of doing things at no additional charge.
