I think he spoke incredibly well, especially about the club, the fans and the expectations. Proof will be on the pitch over the coming months but at least we have a manager who appears to have his head screwed on and understands that the fans are the heart and soul of the club.

Brilliant press conference and sounds exactly what he is and that's a very good manager and an extremely knowledgeable football man.I can't wait now.I really think he's going to be perfect for us and I don't think he'll give a second thought to dropping underperformers either.

Very impressive. The bit about formations being based on the abilities of the players rather than just imposing something you want was pretty reassuring. You'd think it wouldn't need saying, but...

Only one in recent memory to say 'we' & 'us'. Even Allardyce didnt start that until we started doing ok. I felt very positive.

Yeah very solid. Some of the excitement has returned. Need to deliver a performance though, 3 points even without our 2 best players please Roy. (Oh and get Jules back in goal please!)

I've always liked him because he reminds me of my Dad! Liked what I heard, didn't set any daft targets and I agree with others feel a lot more confident than I did with FdB!
