Playing Wilf and Andros up top was a masterstroak by Roy. Canny Roy still has a trick or two up his sleeve. I was saying to someone at work few days ago Wilf up front will give teams problems.teams want to kick Wilf and Andros kick em in and around the box. Even when Benteke and Wickham are back Wilf and Andros upfront is a very good plan B indeed. Thoughts.

They made David Lujz in pzrticular look very silly. Townsend waz there to profit if theh tried to gang up on Wilf and they were too good for them. Decent finishing and we'd have scored a hatful. And we can add Loftus-Cheek to that.

Very mobile front 2 that, both have end product on their day as well. Would give most defences a tricky afternoon like against Chelsea. Love how fluid they were (with Schlupp) and the threat they gave on the counter. The way to go, at least until Benteke is back

Agree. Thought that were all over the place , swapping positions etc, difficult to mark, need to re think the keeper knocking it long though, if no one will challenge for a header.

Replace JS with RLC and I'd happily watch that set up every week. Kind of not missing Tekkers now Just my opinion of course
If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong |

Tactical brilliance. No-one guessed that, least of all Chelsea. Townsend and Zaha 'maraud' up front, very difficult to defend against, by just having Benteke up front its all very predictable. In 3 or 4 weeks time we could be in a safe position. In the early new year, we could have Benteke and Wickham up for it. Reasons to be cheerful!

We could get £25M for Bente and buy another nippy wizard that no defence can follow.

We were a lot more mobile and dangerous without benteke what we lost in aerial threat we more than made up for in pace and skill I reckon if we had a mobile centre forward a Shane long or vardy type player we should cash in on benteke if wickham is fit again we don’t need two target men as yesterday showed
walking down the holmesdale road to see the palace aces! |
