No joke. Was reading sky jan transfere rumours and said pep needs cover at left back. PVA fits that need. Says Pep has shocked people with his choice.

He's a really good player. Clubs who value more defensive contribution than offensive one are gutless clubs and in the long term won't achieve anything else but get relegated.
This is a big problem here, as it looks like most people at holmesdale just want our defenders to make sure we don't concede. A fullback's job at least goes far beyond that. And it's logical to want fullbacks that contribute to getting 20 points per season and also make mistakes that result in loosing 10 points per season than defenders who don't count either way

I would agree but BFS thought he suited our style and Pep. thinks he suits theirs. There is a contrast between the two! I would love to recoup our money on him but I somehow cannot see it happening. I think he might even end up being the next Jordan Much !
