This is what we have come to. I hope some of you have your sand ready to bury your heads in. So glad I moved my family away.

In place for one day, for two hours, and it was optional - Wow I bet that put the gangs in their place.

I do worry about that particular McDonalds. But may I humbly suggest you don't look at Croydon through the lens of one location. I have said multiple times on this site that there is a huge difference across the Borough. We have many exceptionally low criminality Wards. Personally I don't stray North of Marks and Spencer's at night. By the way, I remember that arch appearing on more than one occasion at East Croydon Station, nothing special in that. Kent County Council has the highest rate of crime in the country by the way. Croydon is 10th of the London Boroughs. Westminster being the worst. Who'd a thought it.

Some of the BSF schools in and around the area had to put them in at the entrances, so it's been that way for over a decade now.
