Famous people, work colleagues, schoolteachers whatever. Please include any necessary explanations. 1. Ulrika Johnson....4x4. seemingly on account of who fathered the 4 kids she has. 2. Calamity James....David James the goalkeeper. enough said. 3. Uncle Joe....Stalin's nickname among the other allies at the Yalta conference. I would dare any of the participants to call him it to his face. 4. Cancer Man......the chainsmoking hard-drinking boss of a firm i once worked at. Still alive and well after all these years. Teeth like gravestones.

Bloke I know is nicknamed Bungle (as in the rainbow character) as he's really hairy. His brothers rib him about it so much he refused to name his son George as it would have set them off something chronic. My own nickname is Ratty. My mum still calls me it , sometimes if we are out she will call out rat and I will automatically look round. I also write it in Christmas and birthday cards to her. Feels alien if she calls me by my actual name

One that springs to mind, Our ex-player Steve Lovell, now manager of Gillingham switched to playing up front in his later and non-league playing days and earned the name of 'timber' because he had a habit of hitting the woodwork a lot, back in the the day when goal posts were made of wood of course!!
