A super display against the Dutch. Movement and quality on the ball England looked balanced and fluent. The Dutch never easy to play, but could not get the possession and needed some ideas. Looking good for England

Seemed to be playing more of a forward role in a setup with three centre-backs and wing-backs. Didn't use his pace on the break as much as we do. Looked positive and lively but England basically parked the bus. Had one truly s*** shot near the end that actually went for a throw-in.

Were you watching England ladies playing or something? I was more interested watching how PVA got on than our turgid display.

BBC website seems to be full of articles praising that as excellent and composed, "best performance in a long time" etc. etc. Anyone would have thought they'd demolished the Netherlands 6 - 0. Exactly the same sh*** as we've heard before the last international finals and the ones before that and the ones before that. Expect another complacent, lazy, arrogant and entitled display in the summer, some truly embarrassing results, and no involvement beyond the round of sixteen again at best. Scotland were s*** as well but at least they know it.

Gave it up at half time, Van Aanholt playing for the Dutch was the only reason I lasted that long.
