Football still a very minor sport in Taiwan behind baseball, basketball, even rugby. Baseball is national sport. Gary White has done a good job and had some success finding players with Taiwan heritage who are eligible. Good luck to Donkin but the reports mistakenly give the impression he is some kind of superstar in Taiwan which he is not thankfully. The average Taiwan mum would be much more interested in his schooling than his football as prospective son in law Just let him develop at a steady pace
