I was going to say following the pre transfer window ending panic and the then transfer window ending disaster that we might need to pray there are three worse teams than us in the league. It then occurred to me that every season I seem to watch ‘relegation rivals’ from the get go, meaning I generally support several teams every weekend! A little part of me even feels a bit sorry for Norwich currently (it’s 4-0 with 30 mins left vs Liverpool) but another part of me is very happy! Is it worth keeping a thread going on this??
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I vote for a south coast banishment of PL teams: Brighton, Southampton and Bournemouth all bound for the Championship. Methinks. Edited by Harpo (09 Aug 2019 10.03pm)

Norwich and Sheff Utd are the obvious ones, the Weed or Burnley perhaps? It will be a struggle

Possession and shots quite even ..pool obviously more clinical. Leicester, Villa and Newcastle to go down I've given up on Southampton.

Our squad is still good enough to survive comfortably I think, as frustrating as our lack of progress is. I think Sheff Utd, Norwich, Brighton, Burnley and maybe even Bournemouth and Newcastle are worse than us. Then Villa are a newly promoted side, plus Saints will be likely be better than last year but who is to say that? But yes, it will be a dog fight. I would love us to make, not even a good start, just a non-s*** start for ONCE.

I think the prem is made up of 4 mini leagues, top 6 then Leicester, Wolves, Everton, West Ham then Watford, Bournemouth, Southampton, us, then Burnley, Brighton, Newcastle and the promoted 3.

I think anyone from us, Villa, Sheffield Utd, Norwich, Brighton, Newcastle, Southampton, Burnley could go down. Top 6 obviously fine and I think Leicester, Everton and Wolves certainly won't go down, and West Ham, Watford and Bournemouth also have squads that are too strong to be worried.

For me Norwich, Brighton down plus one from us, Southampton, Sheffield, Villa, Burnley, Newcastle.
One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid. |

This old chestnut. Well its clearly Sheff Utd and Norwich innit. And I dare say that Brighton will fall through the trapdoor this year.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Well Norwich would've likely been on my list anyway, and certainly after today. Sheffield Utd too and a toss up between Burnley and Newcastle.

Great to see Steve Judas Who-ate-the-pies Bruce lose his first game as Toon manager this afternoon. Newcastle now third-favourite for relegation (we are seventh).
The right place at the right time |
