Shirt Sponsors 2021/22

Palace currently has the Malaysian online betting company W88 as it's shirt sponsor. As the adverse effect of gambling addiction becomes more apparent it looks like there are moves afoot to ban betting firms from sponsorship deals with soccer clubs. There are seven other Premiership clubs with similar deals. Man Utd have said that no betting company has made their short list for next season and both Aston Villa and Everton have moved from gambling to online car sales firm Cazoo. So, if Palace follow and show support for a more ethical firm or industry, what company would you like to see emblazoned on our shirts next year? BTW, I've just seen that W88 is also the name of a US thermonuclear weapon.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I can understand your sentiments and do think there is too much emphasis on gambling in sports. I have a friend who owns nothing ever, simply as he is addicted to betting.

Agree & I hate watching a UK feed of a game which has wall to wall betting adverts usually with some cheeky 'Gor Blimey' geezer espousing a particular website. Chavvy & uncomfortable to watch.
