I haven’t seen any official mention of Olise. As things stand then he’s had no pre season at all which means we are unlikely to se him feature for the first few weeks of the season as he will be way behind the rest of the squad

I wonder what is happening with his new contract talks , all has gone quiet with that also . They were trying to up his buyout clause because Sandcastle were sniffing around . A long time to have a foot injury !! did his foot fall off or something .

Concerning somebody so young riddled with injuries already.

Think club wanted to extend current contract by a year but not offer a pay rise I don’t know if injury is serious but seems like some talking needs to go on to get him fully on board.

A very solemn character. Met him twice and thought - god - you must think very highly of yourself! Just about got an autograph for my son - but no smile and no eye contact from him! Says a lot…complete opposite when we met Jack Butland. Such a nice, genuine guy and spent time talking to my son. Top bloke!

Even when he scores he barely raises a smile. He certainly doesn't seem a happy person. Or, is he just very shy? Anyhow, as long as he stays fit, commits to us with a contract extension and keeps improving I guess we'll all be happy to let his football do the smiling.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
