It's easy for us to get p155ed off after a heavy defeat and start caining the management, thats why Ive left it until now for a rant.
As much as I don't think Viera is the one to take us up a level theres no way on Earth I'd like Hodgson back. The man literally made me dislike football for 3/4 years. As much as the clueless pundits who hardly ever watch us will tell a tv audience about how attacking and entertaining we are now I think we all know thats not really the case but if we compare Viera to Hodgson then I can see how we might look like Brazil to an outsider.

To be fair to Roy, from my recollection we tended to 'keep it tight' for 70 minutes and then throw caution to the wind for the final 20, resulting in a few come-back wins. Watford springs to mind.

We are at best a mid table team. We are never going to play well every week. The only way we're ever going to be able to control game after game from start to finish is if we are relegated and manage to keep a strong squad in the division below. With the possible exception of Manchester City, absolutely no one in this league has the right or ability to consider themselves capable of performing to the standards their supporters expect every single week.
