Is he really as good as the hype he is getting. Must be if top 3 club are pinning 90 million on him Against Palace I thought we shut him down in the game

Maybe with any transfer money they can get, they could pay for their own stadium
 I disengage, I turn the page. |

Yes, he's as good as the hype he's been getting - I think the fact that the best two teams in the country are battling for him says it all. Grealish was a key player in City's treble win, started basically every game in the 2nd half of the season - I don't know why people persist with that narrative. He's justified his price tag and then some, phenomenal player.

Maybe with Gundogan (excuse the spelling if its wrong) going to Barcelona it leaves a gap in the Man City midfield.

90 being offered but teams know they can let his contract run out then offer him 20 mil sign on fee and 300k a week in a year's time. West Ham won't be having the final say.

There was an interesting post on the BBC the other day, by a WHU fan (allegedly) claiming he is not and "One of those players who everyone says how good he is but nobody has ever seen it" (not verbatim). I found it bizarre quite frankly, I have seen him play enough I'd suggest and think he's a superb player. Perhaps Phillips was a bit of a curve ball but I'd suggest Rice will be able to deliver, massively, wherever he goes.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He might be a good player but how strong does a team have to be in every position to warrent spending this much on a defensive midfielder?

Has it all, engine, skill, game management, passing ability and above all not a prima dona. Goner go a very long way for a lot of dough.

If Riedewald's half the player Rice is, can we ask for 45mil?
