The business of politics is to win votes and way you can, but pandering to knuckle draggers is unbecoming of a credible campaign. Sadly, all the parties pander to their own target idiots to some degree, it's just that for UKIP this is particularly unhelpful to their reputation in an environment where the liberal media bend over backward to discredit them.

We've already seen Theresa May Bluster her way through an interview without saying the maternity wing there (or anywhere) will be safe [Link] I'd say the lives of babies could be put at risk. Whether or not that is your position, it's not very good for an immigration spokesman for any political party to send an islamophobic and racist image via twitter.
