Rob Green on 5Live made the point that everything with Roy is system, system, system even when attacking. Wolves look like a side allowed to express themselves. My 70 year old mother (not a well known football commentator) just chipped in with “Palace seem to concede a lot in the first half and then not score” Seems she has sussed the problem where Roy hasn’t.

He plays CB for Senegal ffs That doesn’t mean anything. Point is for us, he plays in midfield and we play a different system to Senegal. He has played at CB for us before and looked suspect. Another one of Roy’s “experience before all else” decisions. Not even hating on roy for this game, we just have no attacking quality.
