Spoke to a Chelsea fan yesterday, he says lots of Chelsea applying for Palace membership so they can buy tickets. How does the club vet those applications?

Looks like the FA will step in but no mention of what they will do with the proceeds ? I expect that the lawyers will be arguing over that for months or even years

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Can CG play for us against Chelsea? Definitive' by becky Gallagher will not play in the semi-final. According to FA rules, the association will not give permission for players on loan or work experience to play against their parent club. Edited by Willo (22 Mar 2022 8.01am)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Can CG play for us against Chelsea? Definitive' by becky The debate has moved on from whether it was a fluke, an intentional attempt which was mis-cued or a completely new technique, somewhat like a reverse sweep in cricket, unheard of until one day someone tried it and now it's taken for granted; to the odd suggestion that the only people entitled to an opinion are those who have played the game.

Think the FA need to act quickly on this as sale of club will probably drag on We could offer to sell them to Chelsea fans if they agree to let CG play?

Seems only fitting for us to get to the final in that case and for him to bag a hat-trick!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

If Chelsea fans are not allowed to go, it’ll be chaos on the day. Of course they’re still going to turn up and if we’ve got paper tickets and not digital, I’ll be hiding mine in my pants in case I get mugged, even the most desperate of Chelsea fans won’t want to put his hands down there, especially as I won’t change them for a week

Conor CAN play if Chelsea give permission. Rule 15. (j) (i) of the rules of the FA Challenge Cup 21-22 states: A player on a domestic temporary (loan) transfer (including a player on loan either to or from a Welsh Club that competes in the Competition in the current season) is ineligible to compete in the Challenge Cup Competition unless permission to do so is given by the lending Club in writing (which, for the avoidance of doubt, can include appropriate wording and/or the completion of tick boxes in any loan form) and a copy is received by The Association by the Registration Deadline for that round. It depends what the Loan Agreement said and whether Chelsea want to reverse any decision to prevent him playing (if one already exists). Already been stated he can't play
