Tell me. At what point do you think Black people will be content?

How far back in people's phone history will we have to search? How many statuses will we pull down? How much positive discrimination will they need before they are content?

That’s awful and really sad you had you do that. The school should have expelled the abusers. I’ve spent 34 years of my life in this country and not received racial abuse once. My best mate who was born here but dad was from the Caribbean has experienced it more times than he can count. We’ve been close mates since 11 and nearly always lived in the same place until I moved out of London. The only difference between me and him is skin colour. Born in the same hospital. Went to the same schools. Into the same pastimes. Yet he has had to put up with it and I haven’t.

I think you can take a moral position on the situation but the abuse is still abuse.

Like I said, you want to frame the world in moral absolutes, whereas that only works if everyone agrees.

For example, I think most legal abortion is disgusting.....but you probably don't.

Some abuse is definitely warranted if it’s calling out sh*tty behaviour (and yes that definition is subjective but surely we all agree leaving monkey and banana emojis is).

I think all that’s changed now is that people aren’t so afraid to call out their abuser. Not just on racial issues, but on things like creepy sexual behaviour, being homophobic and the like. People just used to suffer in silence and the abuser just continued as they like, unchallenged, and often thinking they were doing no wrong because of it. As a society I think we’ve got a lot better at standing up for ourselves in the last few years and not letting the bully boys win.

If you don’t get why people are there’s no point having this conversation with you. Listen to people that are on the receiving end and see what they say. Not that it will ever happen, people like you never listen. You think you know it all already.

The victor writes the narrative.....yours is social liberalism/egalitarianism.

You have grown up being taught the narrative. If you had been born in a different era I'm pretty sure you'd be talking that narrative as well.

Let me tell you dear boy that people only want equality until that is achieved, and then they want more. Humans don't settle for equality.

Surely you are not so naive as to believe otherwise.

Right now, Black people are equal by law. They have exactly the opportunities you would expect when you make up 4% of the population. Why they think that they should be entitled to get managerial jobs in football beyond 4%, for example, is beyond me.
No one complains about the disproportionate 25% playing football.
