I’m very hungover , but putting it simply , we ain’t going down now , forest , Southampton and Leicester, and at a push Bournemouth all are not going to get anywhere near our points total we can all relax , and go and have a pint and wait for this to all blow over and start again next season

“This is a crisis, a large crisis.... in fact if you have a moment, it’s a 12 storey crisis, magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24 hour portage , and an enormous sign on the roof saying “This , is a large crisis” - Edmund Blackadder

I'm also hungover and feeling pretty relaxed about it all now.

Its in our hands and we've got plenty of winnable games coming up. Most against other relegation candidates.

The team is good enough to win a good chunk of the remainder.

If we don't stay up, from this position, the players need to take a long hard look at themselves.

I think we have to see who is available, and what funds are available, Potter or Rodgers have some premier success, Kompany and Carrick in the Championship, i would love Frank but suspect he wouldn't come.

Very much doubt it. Brentford owner is part of the new wave of techno owners.

I noticed another Frank at the Chelsea game last night. Couldn't help wondering why.
If they got any sense they will get Naaglesman..... if he wants it.
He must be the most successful manager ever to be removed on the cusp of glory in three top competitions. (even though he is still on the payroll !!)
(Bayern got knocked out the Pokal cup (fa cup equivalent) yesterday in the quarter final.)

We're not home and hosed yet, but we're in a good position.

Zaha being out is a massive loss for us. The next 5 are in theory six pointers and they will be high pressure intense matches. Elland Road is always a tough place with their ferocious home support. A draw there would be a good result.

If we lose the next two we're right back in it. There are no gimmes in the PL.

The Leicester win, and the manner of it, will give everyone a huge boost.

Believe it or not, Chelsea are considering him as interim manager for the rest of the season !

I think Lampard is an excellent manager and in due course will make a success of the PL, minority view I know!

Southampton and Forest looking increasingly anchored by their fixture list. Only 3 of Forest's remaining 9 are at home and one of them is Arsenal.

18th spot is looking like it'll be a real scrap. It could well require 38-40 points to stay up this year unless someone implodes. Leicester might be doing a mini implode and the manager market looks weak - Bournemouth at home is enormous for them on Saturday.

Our next two are both must not lose. 4 points would be wonderful.

Yes, looks like Southampton will be 1 of the 3 to go down.
Leicester are in poor form and managerless. Maybe they will be the second? Hopefully their game on Sat will be a draw.
Bournemouth or Forest would be my 3rd choice.

However, if there is a winner between Leicester and Bournemouth then it's up in the air again.

From our perspective the next 3 are all 6 pointers. Not losing these games is vital. 5 points will be okay, definitely need 4 points at a minimum. 7 points would be wonderful.

Bournemouth I think have picked up, and have a few winnable fixtures remaining, so I think they'll be OK.

I worry for Leicester, they don't look like they can buy a win, and have some tough fixtures coming up, and some '6 pointers' that they really must win. but you can't see them winning anything.

Of the others, Forest look in danger, and Everton are a tough Call atm. signs that they are improving - but they still have no goal scorers. West Ham should be OK, but have some tough games to come too, and a European tournament to deal with.

I think a lot is on us. We have all of the teams below us(bar southampton), and could have a massive say in who goes down (including us if we don't win any of them!)

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"
