I think he is correct although "new world order" has a rather sinister tone.

There are many politicians across the world who would like to see an end to nationalism. They would prefer regional blocs, so far the only continent to do this successfully (matter of opinion) is the EU. The West Indies tried it and it fell apart with the cricket team being the only thing to come out of it.

Most regions already have some form of loose organisation it's just a matter of beefing them up.

Then it will be just like 1984.
