It's because I was pretty comfortable with everything. It's the people that seem to love the EU and demonise leave voters that piss me off. Since the leave vote my pays gone up due to lack of competition for jobs and house prices have slowed due to lack of demand. Project fear hasn't really materialised yet, so I'm still pretty comfortable. What gets me now is that as expected the EU is trying to punish the UK. You've at least demonstrated a level of fairness in describing how you voted but also respect for the result of the vote and it seems like, with that approach you'll forge a path for yourself no matter what the future holds.

It seems to me from the news reports that I have followed that a large percentage of the perpetrators of knife crime are caught so the rise in violent crime can't be down to a shortage of police.

My belief is that the increase in violent crime is down to changes in this country's social values and is not really suitable for a thread on Brexit

Sex crimes have increased considerably. Do you also put that down to police cuts.

Police numbers have been cut in the last few years so I think I'll go out and rape somebody. Somehow it doesn't really have the ring of truth about it
