All this activity. Fantastic. I remember when we bought Charlie Cooke Alan Birchenall and Bobby Tambling from Chelsea all around the same time. But they were older players on the way down. What is happening now bringing in all these kids to join with our academy boys is unreal. I remember that and what a difference it made to our team at the time so exciting.

Great interview with the lad on the Palace website. He seems a bright kid and clearly focused on his career. Could be a leader on the pitch. If he’s as good on the pitch he could be our centre back for years. A future England player and Palace captain.
