Not sure if i've posted on this many moons ago... but its got to be Wrighty and Brighty for me.. Although if AJ stays for the long-term I can see him being up there.

The ancient Greeks believed that to reach Hell you had to get past a vicious dog called Cerberus, then row over a sewer with a blind navigator and then ...and only then, you might get into Hell and reclaim your loved one from eternal flames. If you want to get into Crystal Palace FC Hell you must score a goal against us...and once upon a time, in your effort to enter infernal Palacedom, you had got to get past the God of Goalkeeping and my all-time Palace hero, John Jackson. Not many people did that, whilst thanks to JJJ, the Palace became a serious Division One side and then some...thank you John Jackson, by far the greatest goalkeeper ever to walk our planet.

How can he be Palace's best player after being here for that short space of time? It depends how you put it. Whether it's talent, commitment to the club, impact, character, achievements or loyalty. You haven't really defined it.

As this is a personal choice I go for John the salad boy. To many to put down but a special Mention for Andy gray for popping up in the last few mins to make it 3-3 at the Villa park semi and also to Super Al,s goal in extra time for giving me one of the best days of my life and David Hopkin,s goal at Wembley is in the same mould for the same reason.
