I still think we should do something completely different. Celebrity managers. A new one for every game. Starting with Cherie Lunghi. Imagine the news coverage.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'managerial merrygoround' by Guntrisoft The thing about the bookies is they often get the odds right meaning they look at stats and gather info on form etc. Betting odds are set to start with by the bookies and then change subject to amounts bet on those markets. I cant beleive that Parish hasnt got someone in mind already, its just if that person is currently available. It would be rare to see someone appointed as manager who isnt in the top 3 or 4 betting favourites COYP

Afraid not, just have a feeling he will be appointed. He is exactly the type of manager we need to progress. Surely Parish will not turn to the likes of monk, dyche, hodgson or stam! foolish post as usual

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jaap Stam' by Guntrisoft Reading were awful today, god knows how they finished 3rd. I'd take Wagner over Stam on that showing, not that I think he'd come mind.

Interesting logic. In which case I think Parish hsould appoint - himself, as he has by far the best hairstyle! woah don't jump the gun. parish himself will be the final appointment. Edited by Jamesrichards8 (29 May 2017 10.47pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jaap Stam' by Guntrisoft I've seen quite a bit of them this season and had reports from a couple of Reading mates. They play some of the worst football I've seen for years. Non stop sideways and backwards passing with zero attacking intent. How they finished 3rd God only knows. My guess is they bore the opposition to sleep and score when they are dropping off.Would be gutted if we went for him.

Please be true Nothing particular about it up here other than Boro fans doing exactly the same as we are in speculating who their next manager will be. I think the most likely will be Nigel Pearson who is an ex-boro player and has publicly said he wants the job. Monk though has been strongly linked ever since he left Leeds but nothing specific added to it over the bank holiday weekend

Champions League or bottom half of the Premier, from what I have heard he has an overinflated opinion of himself. The man has a full size head to toe portrait of himself in his house in the hall to greet his visitors, a bit odd. So does Funty !!
