Very childish in my opinion.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

This is nothing to do with cowardice it's simply politics, I think he should do the show but it's not going change my opinion. It's a general election and Andrew Neil is possibly the best and toughest political interviewer out there. Letting your main rival do it, get made to look like a tit, and then ducking it yourself because you know you'll be made to look a massive tit is pure cowardice.

I think BJ is being a coward. He has stated things that are racist. He has a very low opinion of women and working class men. He is a liar. He has made offensive remarks about gay men. He has breached the ministerial code several times. This is the person that may be our next Prime Minister. This is how low we have sunk. Corbyn is little better. There must be better candidates out there.

In actual fact the Conservatives were willing to send Michael Gove to participate but C4 asserted that it was for leaders only, in fact he went to the studios but was refused participation in the debate. To "Empty chair" was a political stunt.Shame on C4. Edited by Willo (29 Nov 2019 8.43am) The only political stunt was Gove turning up knowing full well he would never be allowed on a leaders debate.

You know this of course, but you obviously enjoy punctuating these threads with your occasional disingenuous twaddle. Do you think Corbyn was stitched up by Neil in the BBC interview? Is being asked difficult questions about questionable things you’ve said and done a stitch up? Or is that just an interviewer doing ther job and a politician allowing himself to be scrutinised? You also claimed Boris was ‘stitched up’ by the BBC during their debate. Boris is a coward.

Especially speaking on something which is probably the 2nd biggest issue for the electorate in this election. Viewing figures would’ve been well into the millions, I’m sure.

It's much easier to do these question shows when you are not in government because you can just make promises. You have no recent record of governing to be scrutinised. Boris is wise.

Mmmmm....but those millions would have been lefties. I imagine very few non left types watch Channel 4's political programming. Johnson only needs to concentrate on his base and the normies......and for the normies he just needs to crack a few jokes.
