So you to are both telling me that gays and some Africans are using past occurances to try to gain more for themselves. You have never had an argument or disagreement and they say "Isit cos I am...." or try and pull the race card out on you to make you back down. It is utter bollocks. I have no problem with Gays or Black people personally but so many of them use things that don't happen anymore to put themselves above other people or as a threat to make someone back down? Its all well and good saying I am old fashioned but the reason why is my tax going towards these ridiculous campaigns that are really being forced upon people by ethics and gays who say if you don't do this you are racist a right winged.

Im not being funny why are gays getting all of this love and special treatment. Legalising Gay marriage, people in general accepting fruits exist, There taking the piss now they want even more lime light by getting into all this football lark. I suggest a campaign for those such as my self who are really offended by gays and certain ethic people who get everything done for them yet still play the victim in order to gain more and call anyone who disagrees with them a right wing thug. not about rights as such, but they shouldn't have to fear for abuse at the workplace, because of their sexuality, its clearly an issue because there is not one openly gay footballer in the top 4 leagues in england. Surely that itself shows us its an issue?

Not sure that a football forum is the wisest or most cerebral place to invoke change for the better, but just keep in mind that eroding the rights of others to live in peace eventually erodes your own. I'm as guilty as others in making cheap jokes at the expense of gays, but I defend their right to live as they do and to love another person as we might love a person of the opposite sex. Cue the obvious mindless comments!

A child isn't born racist, homophobic or against many other aspects of life.

Raising awareness only draws attention to it - if the whole world just dropped all the agenda's, let people do what they wanted, so long as it wasn't detrimental to others, i would expect all this would go away.

Who cares what skin colour someone is, a child doesn't. Who cares who loves who, a child doesn't.

I guess what i am saying is that drawing attention to it will make a child question their beliefs - parents will do their best but i just find all these things are unnecessary.
