This post has been merged from a topic called 'Semi Final Tickets' by Old Chap Friend of mine told me that Watford's website has information so looked on their page...their tickets go on sale on Weds 23rd...their allocation is 31,500 so ours must be close to that...what a f**king joke...should be 40k each at least!!!!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Semi Final Tickets' by Old Chap It is a joke. The middle tier and the blocks of seats either side of the players' tunnel are Club Wembley areas, and are usually half empty at semi finals, unless a supposed "big" club are playing. The middle tier holds just over 16500, and the two lower blocks at least 500 each, so that's 17500 seats which are not allocated and are out of reach to most fans. The "no-mans land" between the two sets of fans...that must take up a few hundred. When there is no "history" between the two competing fans why not just a line of stewards separating them, as like Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc? It always amazes me that when these big, shiny, expensive new stadiums are built, there are always a load of seats empty between two teams' fans. It doesn't occur to them to design it so segregation can be done with no loss of seats. Anyway, add on the sponsors, FA big knobs and other idiots who have no interest getting tickets, and that's why the clubs' allocations are so meagre when compared to the stadium's 90000 capacity. It'll be even worse should we progress to the final. Lots of tickets are handed out to County FAs and other organisations, with the clubs getting only something like 25000 tickets each. I don't know you if you have noticed, but the two blocks either side of the tunnel are virtually empty until at least ten minutes into the second half of FA Cup Finals, important internationals, etc, because the occupants are too busy stuffing their fat faces with prawn sandwiches. Bring back replays for the semis and finals. If a match is replayed, the clubs' allocations are greatly increased so more genuine fans will get a chance to be there.
