Seems very FFS in that department. Exactly, the only real difference is that maybe he looked a lot more confident, especially when finishing that sweet chip.

Confidence is the key in all positions but particularly for strikers and keepers. Benteke and Hennessey should have gained a lot from Saturday. I'm hoping for more goals from Benteke now.

he had a dip in form but the fella was immense on Saturday and a calm finish , hes doing what we know he can . I read in the paper today that koeman said lukaku was tired after international duty , tekkers didn't seem tired and lukaku had an extra days rest

Bump. Has been in full beast mode in recent weeks. Really looks to have been galvanised along with the rest of team since the Two Sam's have settled in. In this sort of form, he's every inch the top international level class centre forward fans expected.

Was great to see him driving at the opposition yesterday. Shows he's got his confidence back. Even if he did f*** it up by running straight into the defender.

Yesterday was possibly his best performance for us - the amount of balls he won when really the defender should have got there first was incredible.
