Indeed - only need Southampton to complete the Hat-Trick.

Think I will resort to some intoxicating liquid tonight and not stint on the quantity.

It feels like it's all conspiring against us! United had a great chance to equalise in the dying seconds and (ironically for us) their new goalie does any save to ensure the win. Worst weekend of results yet. Come on Palace and especially Benteke and get us out if this mess!

Chelski players might well put another nail in Conte's coffin tomorrow to complete the Quadruple.

In WBA's dire position they might come looking for the win so this might play into Chelsea's hands. With Chelsea having conceded 7 goals in their last 2 games and being out of sorts WBA might feel they are vulnerable and might really go for it but this could be their downfall.

All getting rather 'interesting.'
At least we playing our next games at home
That's the good news.
Well Roy really will be earning his money if he can keep us out of the bottom three now.

It has been said that 38 pts could be enough to avoid the drop this season.

I really cannot see us getting many points from our next 4 games. Assuming we get a single point this means we will need to get 10 pts from our last 7 games to reach the '38'.On the back of a poor run we will need to get about 1.5 pts a game to reach 38 pts.

I can only keep praying !

I know we've got some tough home games coming up but I wouldn't be too negative. Remember Chelsea and Man City at home. We've now got a couple of weeks for players to recover and a new striker, who I thought looked very neat and tidy and had a couple of good half chances.

We always seem to win the hard games and lose the supposedly easier ones so keep the faith.

Well it looks like despite the great job Roy has done so far looking at the results this weekend it could now be all over for us, pessimist I know but I can’t see us getting anything form the next 3 or so games, the writing was on the wall when we failed to beat Newcastle last weekend .... and those last minute penalties that were missed and the 4 points that would have yielded now seem to have come home to roost...... still whatever the division we will be playing in next season I will still be there, as I always been since 1958 ... good or bad, win or lose !

Liverpool scored , we are safe .

If Southampton equalise we are doomed.

Please edit as required.

This relegation battle changes by the minute

I agree and SP's very poor transfer window dealings have done little to strengthen the squad, given our long list of injuries and now we face 4 of the top six!!

Not looking very good after this string of results.

What on earth has it got to do with SP that we have a long list of injuries? We could have bought in another 3 or 4 players and they may also have got injured. Luck so far has just not been with us nothing to do with SP
