Eze looks lost in this formation & was truly awful today. He has to play as a free spirit and that will not happen with Glasner.
Best 2 players on the pitch JP & Wharton.
As we all know we have too many championship type players, although the first half display was good.
Defence without Gherhi & Richards is not good enough.
Eze gave no protection to Mitchell, but we all know Eze is not great at defending.

When he played on the left he done what he could to help out Mitchell, was he good defensively, of course not but it wasn't without trying. Olise is poor defensively aswell but they're both attacking wide players. Eze plays in the middle and he can't even press.

Eze is like Le Tissier, let him do what he wants, that is how you get the best out of him, you have to decide whether he warrants that luxury or not, but players like Eze don't come along very often, play him as he wants or sell him.

He is Perfect in a 4-4-1-1 formation with two holding midfielders and two pacy wingers, but this will not happen.

Why? All players have a role to play in a side and a certain discipline to follow the tactical instructions. As I've said before, Eze reminds me of that kid in the school playground, good dribbles and tricks but beyond that nothing, no understanding of the other aspects of the game. Perhaps Glasner will be able to instruct him precisely on what is expected.

And the latest scapegoat is....

The guy just needs more quality around him like Zaha before everyone was so keen to f*** him off.

A decent performance today but we were schooled.

There's so many aspects to his game that are poor which is why he's not versatile to play anywhere other than a no10, he's probably my fave player but Glasner is not going anywhere, he would rather play lerma at cb than change his system which eze doesn't fit in. I'll be gutted when he goes but we might aswell cash in in the summer and use the funds to get players in that fit Glasners system.

Exactly! We're running out of time to try out things that are suitable for a single player of 11, if there ever was one of those times.

Not a scapegoat, we all know what he's good at but does he fit this system ? Which is not going anywhere.

Nothing to do with systems the squad's s***e like it was at the start of the season when this site was full of rubbish about us being top ten.

The lads we've signed are decent but too little too late.

No surprise at all that we were comprehensively defeated today.

When one peruses the league table and remaining fixtures there is cause for deep concern about our chances of survival.Brows corrugated with worries all round.

Glasner will not relish spending any time in the Championship and one can only speculate as to whether he will still be at our club should we plummet through that relegation trapdoor. Some gentleman remarked today that Steve Cooper has a promotion from the Championship on his CV !

Completely wrong as usual, Le Tissier, Currie, Bowles, Hoddle, Gazza etc, are not defined, they are pampered if you want to get the best out of them, if you don't want to do it sell him.

I thought the team as a whole played as well as we ever (last 5 years anyway) have against a Top 3 side. Mateta,Wharton,Anderson and Munoz stood out for me
Great entertainment and effort all round

But having said that.....
Eze was way off the pace and looked terrified of being caught in possession. Mitchell was run ragged byRico Lewis but stuck to his task.
Henderson made some good saves but his distribution is awful.

We are going to need another 3-6 points to be absolutely certain of safety, especially if Luton carry on their current form.
On this display, I have no doubt we will get those points and am looking forward already to next year.....players playing for their place in Glasners team this tail end....what will be a very busy transfer window.....and hopefully a team to really get behind next season
COYP!
